Waste of time: Exam Seven.
C4 today.
Question Two was fine, I do love a good binomial expansion. Worked out quite well and did it quickly, which was awesome. Question Two was also great, trapezium rule and integration, same as other people: fabulous.
Then it went downhill, real fast. Answered only bits of questions from then on. Happy that there was no differential equations question, but the big 14 mark question on vectors was a complete fail.
Which I believe, according to my shaky and approximate maths, I've gotten a D in Maths. Which means I should be aiming for 85/90 (roughly) UMS tomorrow to get a C, to guarentee a place at Derby. Which plainly and simply will not happen, ever. So I just hope I get an A in ICT and Derby like me.
Gonna start revising for PA10 in a bit, which should be fun going through 4 modules. Or 4 and that bit of the optional that everyone had. Should probably find out, to be honest.
23 hours left. Dreading the last two, but can't wait either.
Farewell!
A title.
78 days until I finish my summer exams. That feels really quite weird. Mainly because I don't know much of the content for the seven exams I'm sitting. So really, I need to start doing work. Which, to be honest, I'm doing.
Last weekend I got almost up to date with all of the ICT. This weekend, well, that didn't go so well. Sort of did some Maths, worked through the first C4 chapter. Spent most of it not doing anything, however.
This week should be average. Here's hoping, anyway.
Spring Exams '09 – Day 4, I assume
What a waste of time that exam was. Barely answered enough to score half marks on it, as I just didn't know what to put.
Which is really annoying, when over the past weeks when I've been revising, I've been getting B's and A's consistently.
Oh well, it's another one to resit.
Half way through my exams for January, though, so not all is bad.
Spring '09 Exams – Day 1
General Studies was pointless to be honest. Mainly because I didn't know what to write.
To be honest, I'd attribute that to how bloody freezing that room was.
ICT, however, was amazing. Almost everything I revised was not used, however, I was still confident with 55/60 marks, which I am extremely happy with.
Three to go.
I need to post more regularly.
I really do. As otherwise, I say nothing, then I have really long and silly posts. Like this one.
For university, I have two offers of 260 UCAS tariff points to Derby and Sheffield Hallam, and I have been requested to go to an interview for a potential offer for Teesside. However, the interview is scheduled right on top of my exams in January, which in all honesty, is quite inconvenient. However, I do have an offer for my favourite university, which is awesome.
Hmm. In Burnout Paradise, I got my Burnout License. Only 105 events to go until I get my Burnout Elite license. Yayy. Something like that, anyway.
I was quite ill last week. And to anyone that was wondering, that still doesn't know, I was asleep in the week. I just felt completely dead, and was coughing up blood and stuff like that.
Nationwide finally sent me the cheque for their silly accounts merger thing. Therefore I have £50, which should be nice to spend on something. Rock Band 2, or maybe some dollars. As it's Vegas in eight weeks.
That kind of scares me, however, as that means exams are in five. Two Maths modules, one Physics module and one ICT module, plus a General Studies module that'll finish my AS off. I've got some good resources though, all of the ICT and Maths papers with Physics coming next week, as well as a very useful ICT textbook.
However, I am currently not learning from the resources. They just exist. Like, I have a Maths mock in the next few days, and I am still not aware of C3 trigonometry. Or, on the coursework side of things, I've done very little towards the ICT that was due in on Friday, (to be honest, I was really ill, to the extent that I wasn't on the computer for most of the week) and absolutely nothing at all towards the stuff that's due in this week. And overall in Physics, I haven't really thought about it.
I should probably do some Maths or ICT now, but blogging about not doing it is much more interesting.
Hmm, other things. In World of Warcraft, I hit Level 80. And I'm slowly gaining Level 80 gear that's replacing my outdated Level 70 gear, which is good. 2800-odd achievement points too.
Fall Out Boy's new album is quite fun, not really enjoying it yet. I'm sure I will soon.
Bowling for Barndardo's tomorrow. I don't have a sponsor envelope yet. I could see that being a problem to be honest. I do have all my money, so I just need to sneak into the office and get one. Should be fun.
I think that's everything, to be honest. Should be fun seeing someone tomorrow, haven't seen anyone since Wednesday two weeks back. Awh.
I hope this kick-ass trend of exam difficulty continues
As it entirely rocks. ICT1 was quite easy, but I didn't get 2a. However, I hope my coursework/timed exam pieces contribute against the four marks I didn't answer for.
And I've finally stopped shaking after that bloody practical.
Oh well.
Today was a stress free day.
It really was, S1 went well, and a big who cares to General Studies. =)
It's just another sign of the times.
Young Enterprise is doneeeee. And we are the most entrepreneurial company in Staffordshireeee.
Thank god I never have to attend a lunchtime meeting for it ever again, do last minute changes, or panic like never before ever again.
Until my exams.
That start tomorrow.
Excluding the practical though, S1 is being really AGH I'VE DONE NO REVISIONNNN.
Seriously.
Gonna be a fun exam.
Well, a fun exam on thursday.
But tomorrow could be just as fun. It's just gonna be all based on whether S1 is evil or not.
Coursework = Done
Which can only be good. All finished in one day, too, it's supervellous. Though the performance of one of those could've been better, but I'm not bothered. =)
14 days until my first exam, unfortunately. It's going to be a hectic week next week. Gawd. At least for Young Enterprise I'm now only pressing buttons and making the odd image, which is always good.
