So.
Fun past few days?
Well, in general, the Volvic Challenge adverts still confuse me heavily. I fail to see the challenge. Also, I fail to see what makes Volvic cheeky, as it were. Advertising, eh? What a futile idea. I ignore them anyway.
But, on Wednesday, I did very little. Aimee and I watched some American TV in our free periods, had hour five of our timed ICT exam. That was about it. I think we talked about the Volvic Challenge then, too. I also handed in my last copy of my ICT coursework, gaining a total of 75/80 marks, which I am happy with.
However, on Thursday, we did some things. Like a practical exam that I thought went relatively well, which at the time of writing is now only 15 days away oh my god i'm going to die aghh. Also, hour six of our timed ICT exam.
Nevertheless, on Friday, I had an M1 mock. It was going so well. Question One, easy. Question Two, easy. Question Three, well, part (a) wasn't that bad. However, from there, it went downhill exponentially. And also, hour seven of our timed ICT exam. Which is halfway through. And I'm only a user documentation, camera ready copy and an evaluation away from finishing. Also, I need to embolden some words.
I like that word.
Yet, on Saturday, in the day, Adam Biddulph, Mat Bowker and I went to Birmingham. In the end, I spent about £20, which got me transportation there, a Chicken Tikka Masala and a Pepsi from Wetherspoons, a Venti Signature Hot Chocolate with a shot of Hazelnut syrup, a present for Sophie, a 2100 Microsoft Points card (THAT DOESN'T WORK, SO I CAN'T PLAY BANJO TOOIE, SO I HAVE TO WAIT FOR EVEN LONGER, WHICH SUCKS MASSIVELY SINCE I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A BANJO TOOIE N64 CARTRIDGE SINCE 2007, HOW FAIL), and an Apple Pie. Walked loads too, plus had a look round the art gallery. How very cultured of us. Good day, to be honest.
On the other hand, on Saturday evening, I went to a house party at Jay's. It was awesome, fun people, fun games, fun drinking. To be honest, I can't actually remember much.
And today, I revised some M1 due to the catastrophic failure I experienced on Friday. I also watched about 15 episodes of Mythbusters (I love that show so much), got caught up on Britain's Got (More) Talent, prepared to put Windows 7 on my Mini 9 on Tuesday, and spent roughly 37 minutes tagging each song from the Eurovision 2009 Album. Eurovision is defiinetly the only time of the year where looking at my albums in Cover Flow makes me sad, due to the 42 Eurovision covers in there. Still, it's good fun.
Basically, yes, it has been fun.
Not like anyone was asking. But I've told you anyway. So there.
Should be having a fun May Day in Cannock Park tomorrow, frisbee-ing and all.
Yay Banjo (classic).
Yummy, Wrath + Audiosurf + Banjo Kazooie is sexy.
Why can I not type audio without spelling it auido? Silly me.
Level 71 in Wrath, getting better at Audiosurf, and I'm just generally happy about Banjo Kazooie to be honest. My favourite game, ever.
No Nuts & Bolts arrival today, though, which is a bit strange. At least it gives me time to play the first one.
Scooch went well today, can't believe that it's like tomorrow. Should be good fun. I think I'll try and get someone to take some photos for me, which could be awesome.
What will not be awesome, however, is ICT. I have lost almost all interest in it now. Oh well.
Hmm, UCAS could be fun. Finished my second draft just now, and references have been distributed. Which is sexy. I hope. Staffordshire Open Day Saturday, which might be fun. Who knows.
God, this post has no structure. Hmm, I like long posts.
It appears I did not watch Children in Need 2008.
As I fell asleep. Still, a good 15 hour sleep never did anybody any harm.
And I've got it recorded anyway, so I just need to watch it now. All seven hours and fifty minutes of it.
Yay for QI special, though.
Anyway, just got back from Staffordshire university open day. Looks quite a nice place, not too far from home either.
I wanna send my application off. =( Damn laziness of leaving personal statement too late.
Nice flapjacks, anyway.
Oh! I got one of the round highlighters that everyone ever (well, Add, Aimee and Matty) seem to have. Which is entirely awesome, in my opinion.
Another oh! Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts is here. =) Which means sexy vehicle manipulation-ness. When I've finished the first, that is. Damn Stop 'n' Swop items.
A further oh! Tesco Clubcard vouchers. Some fun ones and some not so fun ones this time, though. Last time they were all like awesome, but I'm cool with these. Specifically, I have a Clubcard Points prize draw coupon, points when I buy: dougnuts, soft drinks and biscuits, 10p off a reusable bag, and 50p off any Trident Chewing Gum multipack. Some fun ones.
A final oh! Joe Brooks UK tour dates. I hope they're close to me, as I may just go by myself if no-one else wants to go. As his music is awesomeness defined.
Fin.
Things are fun.
Playing Rock Band for a night is fun. However that was mainly on vocals, and so was quite throat-pain-inducing. Especially singing the first half of Run to the Hills at least four times in a row, and not actually finishing.
Castle Crashers is fun. Especially as I only paid £9.00 for the points. Good bargain, I feel. I also love this song.
The songs in Camp Rock are fun. However, the oh-so-obvious canned laughter plus predictable plot is not.
Signs in Burger King are fun. That's it.
Time Machine finishing backing up for the first time in five weeks is fun. Well, Mac-saving, especially if I have another kernel panic.
Pre-ordering Banjo Kazooie: Nuts and Bolts and discovering I get the free XBLA port of the original Banjo Kazooie is fun. Especially as I love Banjo Kazooie.
Something are quite as fun. Like kernel panics, Digicook.co.uk being spammed heavily, and not posting here in a week.
Still, all is good.
Omgg.
Exciting things coming to Xbox 360.
New dashboard (I think), Banjo Kazooie on XBLA, FFXIII, Portal mini-episodic game exclusive on XBLA.
Sony and Nintendo better have very big hats to pull things out of.
