oh my

Scoochscoochscoochscoochscooch.

Was amazing. Seriously.

Walking out on stage and then doing the routine that we'd been practicing for the past two months was just immense. And the ping pong bats! And the aisles! And the offering of something to suck on for landing!

Someone could have told me my mic cable was where it was though. But other than that, it was amazing. But to be honest, I don't really care about that. As it was just amazing.

Pretty good day, too. Maths in lesson one canceled for our teacher's dentist appointment. So I helped Lozza not die setting up lights, and stuck up the marvellously drawn, painted, and cut out Pudsey's on the back curtain whilst standing upon a questionable chair.

Lesson two was ICT. Yeah, no comment. Mock. That's it.

Lesson three was more Children in Need. Got mic'd up, ate, practiced, waited.

Lunch was it. Watched Kevin, the teachers performing Thriller (who were quite amazing to be honest), Sam and Andy, the upper sixth girls, from the lighting box. Very fun. Then during the penultimate act, we stood in the sidelines waiting. And there were lots of screams. Lots. Obviously they all want Mr. Coombes or Mr. Lownes. Who knows.

Then it was us. And we got clapped. We didn't even have to prompt. It was amazingness. And then in the aisles, I saw my two maths teachers from last year. That was fun. =)

And then it was YMCA. God, that's a bloody long song. Especially when you're performing with ping pong bats, have Adam Biddulph in the very middle of the seats taking photos, not sure which way round to perform the C, not knowing how to finish, and having been on stage for far too long under heavy theatre lighting. Very sweaty. Not so sexy.

Another congrats to Rachel by the way, an amazing concert you organised. =D

Lesson four was recovering from the concert. It was neccessary, to be honest. Everyone signed a Pudsey, I sent a copy of my personal statement to Mrs. Kearsey with a smiley face in it, printed off and handed in ICT coursework, and ate some cake.

Lesson five was maths. And only one hour later, I cannot remember a word of what was taught. Not a single one. I know it was about trig, but I remember more the constant playing of Hot 'n Cold as Jenny's ring tone, as she could not reach her phone to disable said ring tone. Then constant bleeps for text messages. Good times.

Children in Need later, should be good fun. Always is. =)
