Oh, how to not start voting for Eurovision (redux):
By saying now.
(That hourglass that fell over a year or so back was so much more exciting. Ooh, maybe that's happening on Saturday!)
ESC Semi-Final Two 2008
That opening ceremony makes me glad I missed the one on Tuesday.
Anyway.
Switzerland had some strange looking backup singers.
Belarus sounded out of tune, all the way through.
Latvia has pirates. Pirates! A vote for not-Latvia is vote for crime.
Bulgaria had plenty of non-guitars. And Grissom from CSI. And lots of fire.
Denmark's postcard narration by Paddy O'Connell was quite amusing. The song wasn't.
I think now I can safely say that Andy Abraham was not a bad choice, compared to the 38 acts that have performed over Tuesday and today. And from listening to their songs, the Big Four + Serbia sound terrible anyway.
But hey, we'll never win. =)
Well.
AFGH.
I mean, Module 2 made no sense, at all. The results in our group will most certainly not follow an normal distribution curve.
And Module 3 went alright.
So yeah. Maths in 11 days.
However, Eurovision in 3 hours.
I know which one I'm more excited about.
ESC Semi-Final One 2008
Wellll.
Estonia obviously like food.
San Marino had emos.
Azerbaijan went to awesomely high pitches.
Ireland, well. At least they look amusing now. The wigs really do take attention off of the turkey.
Finland has a Lordi knockoff.
Russia has a nice song again, still sticking with the pirates I think.
Greece had a chav.
And the male host was wearing trainers.
