Wednesday the 17th.
Uploaded a new blog header image that was more appropriate to my current circumstances. Unless you're currently on Facebook. Which is cool. But you're so missing out.
Today was great, went off to Birmingham. Traded in my Wii and an additional remote and nunchuck for £110 trade in at Gamestation, which was nice. I then used that credit to get me a Microsoft Points Card and Lips, with brought me down to £60, which is still a lot of credit that can be spent on some other games later.
Went around, can't quite remember when. But anyway, bought Aimee's birthday presents, bought Alan Carr's autobiography and Russel Brand's latest book, hardcover, £6 for both, which was awesome. Also got some Sharpies to replace the black one that died in November. And they have a fine-liner tip, which I thought was pretty ninja to be honest.
Then we headed home and I played Lips for about five hours. And as expected, spent an entire points card on DLC songs. Got another one coming tomorrow/Friday though, which I'm not going to spend. It's going to sit there until something I actually want comes online.
Anyway, a photo of me revising Physics is shown to the right (or just somewhere on Facebook). Isn't it so fun.
In other news, oh my god Sree is so annoying why don't the bloody housemates nominate him so he can go awayyyy, and they should stop nominating Halfwit as I find him amusing.
That's about it.
Pub today for lunch, pub tomorrow for something. Should be fun whatever happening. Slightly feel a bit bored that I've not got anything planned for Friday. I'm sure I'll cope, I do have access to about five games I want to finish, Scrabble Live, Bejewelled Blitz (if it ever comes back from maintenance), and Zynga Poker.
Oh, and Restaurant City. That's become quite addictive.
I'm bored, or am out of things to say.
Therefore: fareewell!
Hmm, things.
1: ICT5b. Yesterday, I did spend most of my evening catching up with the past few weeks. Of course, I'm still way behind, but this weekend should have me caught up.
2: ICT6. Leaving my ICT coursework for tomorrow's deadline to start at 11pm was not a good idea. I've done about a page, and it's awful. Gonna hand it in on Monday hopefully. Still won't be done, but it will be more done. Which is good.
3: Pay my webhost. Or my website dies next month. And I have business cards! =O
4: Stop spending money. After Birmingham tomorrow of course. I do plan to spend quite a bit. Good times.
5: Maths. Catch up, learn it, understand it, do well. I can't really do badly on these June exams.
6: Physics. See above.
7: Student Finance and Accommodation: Should do that pretty soon, to be honest. Maybe this weekend.
8: Write more for my blog.
The past week.
On Monday, I woke up and was told that school was not on, due to the snow, so I went back to sleep. A few hours later I was asked over to have snow-tastic fun in Cheslyn Hay. Sounds fun.

It took Matty and I an hour-ish to get from Norton to Tesco, then we found Aimee and Adam. We went over to some form of park and played on the swings, and threw snow at each other. Good times. Aimee did make a big snowball from our failed snowman, which was awesome.

Then we found Todd and Fran, and had more snow fun, which was fun. Then I missed my bus. That wasn't so good times. But then I was home soon enough, which was good. All in all, a good day of procrastinating from ICT coursework. The photos from there are on Flickr and Facebook.
Tuesday brought another day off due to the snow. And I did nothing all day.
Wednesday was a day at school for once. Funny thing being that I had only one lesson all day. Wednesday was awesome, as I got the £100 EMA bonus. Really didn't expect to get it, to be honest.
Another snow day on Thursday. Don't see why at all, to be honest. Glad that it made me miss three hours of Physics, however. Another day of doing nothing.
Back into school on Friday, and I actually had lessons today. Did little work, though, to be honest.
Saturday, well, today, went to Star City for Laser fun. It was. And since then, I've slept a bit, as I was exhausted due to running around like a maniac. Good times. I've also done no work.
Essentially, it's 105 hours exactly until I leave for Las Vegas, which means I have 105 hours (minus travel time to Machester Airport) to fully implement and test my database, which means I'm going to die. I probably should do some ICT of the publishing variety, as I'm a bit behind.
Oh well. I'm not going to do any now, as I'm off to play Audiosurf. Which means I have Sunday, well, tomorrow, and then after schools next week. I do hope that Monday is off school as it would provide me with time that I so desperately need.
Or, I could buy a netbook and do work in America.
I really do want a netbook. *sigh*
What a day.
Got to train station at 11:00, waiting for Add and Rachel. Add and Rachel arrive around 11:15. Waited for 11:25 train.
Train didn't arrive. Matty appeared. His iPhone tells us that the train was delayed until 12:03. At 12:03, the train arrived, but didn't stop at Landywood. Fail.
Decided to reduce wait times by travelling to Somerfield's. In the 2 for £1.50 offer, I bought Coca Cola, as a did Rachel. I also purchased a Kinder Egg.
Waited for next train, supposedly at 12:25. Person came down to tell us that no trains would be stopping at Landywood, so we had to get on a suspicious coach.
Arrived at Walsall station at 13:00, got ticket, finally got on the train to Birmingham at 13:15. In Birmingham for about 13:40.
Had Subway. Not enough cucumber on mine, 5 slices on a footlong. Disappointed.
Walked round shops. Should have bought Hairspray for £6. I wasn't prepared to wait in Gamestation for a game though, queue was far too big.
Around 17:05, had to run for the train. Got on the train, nearly fell over a lot.
...
So..., a protip: London Midland trains are awful. And don't go to Birmingham so close to Christmas.
You will only be disappointed.
Bouncy bouncy, etc.
What a fun afternoon/evening/morning.
Arriving at 12:00, we proceeded to KFC. I had a Boneless Banquet. And it was really quite tasty. Then we wandered over to the cinema, and it was a good film-age. Then like Sainsbury's Local for evening snacks, which was eaten in the ICC.
Then it was like The Mighty Boosh show at around 19:00. Bought a sexy programme for £12, which included a box of crayons, tattoos, stickers and well, the programme. That was a worthwile purchase, I feel. Emma even more-so, being as she got £20 change from £22, which is quite amusing for her. I thought the show was good, lots of fun Boosh-ness. Favourites would definitely be Tony Harrison, The Moon and the Honey Monster. Good times.
Then it was like 23:00 and was like Outrage! Getting in was fun, especially how out of Emma, Matty and I, the oldest was the only one to get ID'd. Anyway, first legal drink purchase, which is always good. And second, third, and fourth. Also lots of jumping. And I touched Noel Fielding's hair and hand. And Rich Fulcher's hand, too. Good times. Ohh, fun drunk people that give you money is always fun.
Then around four and a half hours later, like 03:30, the aftershow party ended. Which was sad. But good time, as my feet were in very much pain. Had some chips, sent Emma off in a taxi, and sat in the fountain. It was off, but it was still really quite cold. Sat around for about an hour.
Headed towards the station so we could see what time train to get at around 05:00, decided, then went to the McDonalds for bagel and orange juice. It was good. After that, I headed to the train around 06:00, fell alseep on the train for a few minutes, caught a bus, and was home by 07:30. Then I went to bed.
Felt like an exciting and fun 20 hours and 30 minutes in Birmingham.
Hmmyes.
Google Maps Adventure.
I got really quite bored.
Oh, what fun. Click the link above to view it more step by step. Or press show labels here to show some details of things.
I make it a guesstimate of around 4.3 miles.
Good good.
I am so happy.
Today was totally awesome.
As: Starbucks, plus violence, plus new people, plus Big Wok, plus standing in random aisles in four different shops for at least an hour and half total, plus Pop Rocks, plus playing Rock Band though there was no sound so it was crap, plus buying Urban Dictionary.
Minus train back.
Anyway.
Yay, Big Brother and Pokémon Diamond!
Just caught a Mesprit, and it's awesome.
There was no cake today.
But it was still a good day.
Plus, Crayola flasks rock. As does Urban Outfitters in general, to be honest.
However, Worms in 3D is not a good idea.
Train cancellations are also not good ideas, but not overly dramatic.
Oh well.
