Streak broken.
So yeah, past two days have been alright, lots of new gaming news.
Today, nothing.
I am so bored.
And I'm not even revising, which makes it worse.
Tomorrow is going to be better for boredom, but worse for revision: The Sims 3 should be arriving tomorrow, and Big Brother 10 starts.
=(
Oops.
I forgot to post again.
All week.
So it's time for a mega long recap.
Problem there, is I've done very little, all week, making both the need for a post each day futile, as they'd all end up like the posts I made throughout May last year. (I'd recommend not clicking onto the May 2008 archives, it's truly awful) Still, I did do a few exciting things. Or witnessed a few exciting things.
This week has mainly been about Britain's Got Talent, in the same way the week before was all about Eurovision, and the week starting tomorrow will be mainly about Big Brother. However, what a wonderful week of Britain's Got Talent it was, loads of exciting peformances and fabulous acts, really enjoyed Diversity and thought they were a deserved winner.
Another exciting thing was recieving my RAM replacement. Instead of putting it back into my netbook (awh, Dell are discontinuing the Mini 9), I decided to put it into my iMac to give it a boost from 2GB to 3GB. I never really noticed the difference when it was in the netbook, so it seemed a bit futile to keep it there. Plus, with The Sims 3 RAM requirement of 2GB, putting the extra may make me a bit more awesome.
Or something like that. To be honest, I don't really see what RAM does. I believe bigger is better, though.
Oh well.
A third exciting thing was the arrival of my Bacon Salt. As suggested by Matty, it does smell like (Barbecue?) Pringles, but it tastes a little like bacon. Am planning to try using it on many things over the next months. Oh yes.
That's all for highlights.
Another, sort of highlight anyway, is the fact that I've done much revision at all. Like, nothing. I still don't know much Core 4, and I have a mock exam on Tuesday.
Though I'd count that as a highlight, it led into the biggest fucking lowlight ever. I've basically completely given up on exams now, as I just can't be bothered because of how Mechanics 1 went two Fridays ago. It's also made me think about how I'm not going to get the grades I need to get onto my university course, and whether I'll be able to manage and cope on the course if I do get upon it. Then I started thinking about what I'd do if I failed my course, or even if I failed to get on the course in the first place.
='(
Plus, because of the hot weather and my hay fever, I've been sleeping even more erratically than usual. Like, trying to get to sleep at 11pm, yet not falling asleep until 5am, then waking up at 8am because it's so bloody hot.
I'm off to go lie down and attempt to sleep, ready for my single revision session tomorrow. Actually, I do wonder if we have an ICT session tomorrow. Not that I care, to be honest. Ah well. I'll end up probably listening to some Lady Gaga and maybe watching some Big Bang Theory.
I hate this part right here. Like the song though.

Now.
I was right!
Nothing much else to say really, though this week is a bit of a season finale week of some of the last American TV shows, with Lost, The Big Bang Theory, My Name is Earl (joining Scrubs (what a lovely ending - I did nearly cry), Heroes, Better off Ted and Samantha Who?) ending for a while.
Should be okay for a while, I do have a whole season of Desperate Housewives and half a season of Ugly Betty to carry me through until Big Brother UK and US start. Might keep me a bit interested during revision, which I have officially started with my ICT timed exam now finished. Yayy.
And with good grades on the second M1 mock I did, I'm feeling not so bad about the exams I have next week.
Well, the practical should be no problem at all, M1's going alright, but the lack of me seeing a PA02 paper in a year may limit my progress there. Doubt I can do any worse on 25/90 UMS, though.
To be honest though, you never know. Ah well, time for some Free Realms, The Apprentice, and I may watch Semi-Final One again.
If you didn't see it, IT WAS AMAZING I'VE MISSED EUROVISION SO MUCH YAY.
Davina McCall as a zombie.
She looks quite scary, actually.
Should be a fun week.
Especially tomorrow. And Friday.
Today, well, the past 24 hours, was good.
First I did some vacuuming to make my floor not coated in crumbs. Something productive in the morning, it's quite Oh My Gok.
Well, then it was school. Particle Physics to, erm, yes. Human Computer Interfaces to, erm, also yes.
Then I came home and now I have access to a HDTV in the household. I never believed gaming in HD was so pretty. It's quite a step up from a 17" 4:3 SDTV to a 26" 16:9 HDTV. It's also a very pretty step.
Then I got lots of email. I like email. Then I read through my feeds. That wasn't so fun, as I had 750-odd items. Some fun stuff in there, though.
Then we went out as a family for a meal for my parent's anniversary. Awh.
Then I come home to do some coursework, which is done, -ish, if I could access myClassLink it'd be sorted.
Then I started my homework, will finish it P1 tommorow.
Then I filled out my correct timetable for Jackie.
Then I downloaded three episodes of Big Brother USA, 900 MB of music and thought I'd preload the 3.0.2 WotLK patch through the background.
Then, quite weirdly, I had an email inviting me to the WotLK beta. Which means I can see Northrend for all it's prettyness for myself. Yayyyyy. =)
And then I went to bed. Maybe.
I may have fallen asleep.
But I still thought that Rachel was a worthy winner.
It does mean I have 3 hours of Big Brother to watch on E4 tomorrow, as there was Big Mouth too.
And Ugly Betty, I need to watch the end of that. That seemed to start well too, I have to say.
Although now Big Brother has finished, it means there is Scrubs on E4 again. I missed it. =)
And there's still about three weeks of Big Brother USA left for me to go.
And I might start watching The Amazing Race, as that looks a bit interesting.
Now I'm off to fall asleep again.
US Big Brother 10 28/08/08
was quite hilarious.
The way a weeks worth of stuff fit into 30 minutes was quite amazing and obviously exhausting.
The HoH task was the best, obviously.
Woo.
It amuses me
that the Big Brother housemates have 150 eggs, lots of tuna, but not much else.
Well done housemates.
Very awesome recreation of Here It Goes Again.
Plus it's nice to see it out of the whole Guitbassocals situation of Rock Band.
Rock Band stuff came today too, so I now have a microphone that doesn't suck, another guitar that I dislike very muchly, and a drum set that I can not use as I have no hand-eye-foot co-ordination at all.
Well, I can do drums on easy at least.
Hmm. =)
This Big Brother task is amazing.
It really is.
Trying to find a YouTube video of it, haven't got any luck though.
