MrMaycock.com The blog of a nineteen year old university student

Oh.

Apparently I was lying, no frisbee-ing at all.

Spent the day doing a few things, however.

Spent about an hour preparing, readying, installing and tinkering with the process of putting Windows 7 onto my Dell Inspiron Mini 9. Glad I did, runs smoothly and Aero is so pretty. One problem I'm having is that it's constantly hot, all the time, which I only got before after Audiosurfing for a few hours. Not such a major problem though, oh well.

Spent quite a bit of time doing some M1 revision, going over some vectors stuff.

I didn't spend my time playing Banjo Tooie though, which I hope to remedy tomorrow by buying another Microsoft Points card. If that one doesn't work, I'll be really quite annoyed. I hope the one I have now works at some point before the weekend, or I'll be making some calls. As I want those points. =(

Back to school tomorrow, exam hour number eight. Also, two hours of Maths. Gah.

Well.

Pretty uneventful week so far.

Probably the most exciting thing I've done so far is change the blog theme again. I like this one, as it's a bit more orange. Plus it doesn't look totally ugly on big resolutions.

Other sort of exciting things happening include lots of Audiosurf, also making my netbook more fun and interesting.

Sort of exciting was handing in a 106 page long coursework project, but that's sort of old news.

Very exciting was Activote. I think it is fabulous.

Not so exciting is the fact that I can still remember what we were taking about in CPL today. Hah, that thing with Diane was absolutely hilarious. But that's not what I'm talking 'bout, I mean the peasant's thing.

Fantastically exciting was catching a Mr. Pinchy. That was amazing, but then talking to Mr. Pinchy and then getting a Magical Crawdad Box from my first charge was fabulous. 264 casts in pools to get, which made my afternoon fabulous.

Not that bad on the exciting scales is my recent achievements. Along with the above, I hit 1000 dailies, Champion of Darnassus, Exalted Champion of Darnassus, Chasing Marcia, It's Just a Flesh Wound, Stocking Up, and the four Coin achievements.

Actually, to be honest, it's not been that boring.

Yay Banjo (classic).

Yummy, Wrath + Audiosurf + Banjo Kazooie is sexy.

Why can I not type audio without spelling it auido? Silly me.

Level 71 in Wrath, getting better at Audiosurf, and I'm just generally happy about Banjo Kazooie to be honest. My favourite game, ever.

No Nuts & Bolts arrival today, though, which is a bit strange. At least it gives me time to play the first one.

Scooch went well today, can't believe that it's like tomorrow. Should be good fun. I think I'll try and get someone to take some photos for me, which could be awesome.

What will not be awesome, however, is ICT. I have lost almost all interest in it now. Oh well.

Hmm, UCAS could be fun. Finished my second draft just now, and references have been distributed. Which is sexy. I hope. Staffordshire Open Day Saturday, which might be fun. Who knows.

God, this post has no structure. Hmm, I like long posts.

Lol at the currency rates.

Audiosurf for me yesterday: £1.93

Audiosurf, gifted to Aimee just now: £1.94

How uneven. =O

Audiosurf: £1.93

That is an amazing price for an amazing game.

I bought it. Oh yeah.
