Study
I am now a university student at the University of Derby, studying for my Computer Games Programming degree. Previously at Sixth Form, I was studying for my three A Levels, ICT, Maths and Physics.

I have also recently successfully completed and passed an Open University module, SK185: Medicines, Molecules and Drugs - The Chemical Story. I have recently finished a second module, S197: How the Universe Works.

I was also part of an award winning Young Enterprise company, DigiCook, a company that sold interactive cooking guides for children. We were awesome.

Hobbies
Basically, I like to use the computer. I enjoy creating web sites, manipulating photos, using the internet, playing games. I also enjoy taking photos. I love music, I really love live music. I like to read, but I don't read as much as I'd like to any more. I also love to watch TV shows and movies. Hmm, this is really just a TL;DR. Whoops.

Television and Movies
I like to watch TV. And I can watch pretty much anything.

There used to be a long list here. But I thought that was a bit sad So I split that list up, expanded them, and made them not visible by default. So, basically, it's American TV, and British TV.

I also like to watch movies. I dislike really weird and most horror type movie things, but I can cope with the SAW series, Final Destination is alright too. I like the LotR and PotC trilogies, and the Harry Potter hexalogy. I also love most Disney movies (I realllly love High School Musical and Beauty and the Beast).

Gaming
I play games. Which is why I want to work in the computer games industry. But not because I like games, it's 'cause I enjoy the coding and stuff behind it. I do also like games. Oh yes.

Anyway, I play World of Warcraft. Though I've stopped recently, I do still play a bit. Aliance wise, I have a level 80 Priest, Spumba, and some others, all on EU-Boulderfist. But they suck. My main does also, but that's not so relevant. I also am levelling some Horde on EU-Agamaggan some characters, but not often. Oh well. Also, I hate PvP realms, no clue as to why I've levelled on two of them. Silly me.

I also use an Xbox 360. My gamertag is Samisa. I play mostly on there, loads of games.

I also own a DS Lite (to play Pokémon, Elite Beat Agents, The World Ends With You), a PlayStation 2 (to play FFVII, FFVIII, FFIX, FFX, FFX-2, FFXII, Kingdom Hearts, Kingdom Hearts 2, Crash Team Racing) and a Nintendo 64 (to play Banjo Kazooie and Pokémon Snap).

I also own an iMac, which has limited games. But I do own World of Goo and World of Warcraft.

Running Windows through Boot Camp I use my Steam account, MrMaycock, to play The Orange Box, AudioSurf and World of Goo.

Musical Tastes
I can listen to most things. Provided they have a beat, minimal screaming, and not too heavy of a drum beat.

I also love to sing along to music. Which is why I think bands are stupid touring with new album content before the album actually comes out.

The Internet
I blog. I tweet an awful lot. I use Facebook. I occasionally upload to Flickr, but I don't have many friends. I have a very old, outdated Myspace. I listen and scrobble to Last.fm. I watch and upload to YouTube.
