Spring Exams '09 – Day 10
Yep, went as badly as I expected.
However, I am exam free for four months. Which is nice.
Spring Exams '09 – Day 8
S1 today.
Not sure what to make of it. I messed up the probability question. I messed up the second half of the normal distribution question. And I made two other silly mistakes, mainly because I don't know what F(1.5) means in a probability function and something else.
Whatever happens, it's an improvement over the 61 UMS I got in May.
And that will only help the failure I made of C3.
Physics on Wednesday, can't wait. </sarcasm>
Wow.
I guess this is what a hangover feels like.
And I don't think it's going to help my S1 revision. That I haven't started yet.
Damn.
Windows 7
It's very pretty. It's also pretty quick, faster than Vista anyway.
However, upon first installing it, it took me three hours to successfully connect my bluetooth mouse and keyboard. And even now, they are falling asleep after 15 seconds, so I've got to keep them moving or else everything becomes jittery.
The other problem I have is my HFS+ drivers in the form of MacDrive aren't supported on the OS, so I'm left without any music to use in Audiosurf. However, I have got Spotify and Last.fm for any general music-ness.
And that's about it.
Spring Exams '09 – Day 4, I assume
What a waste of time that exam was. Barely answered enough to score half marks on it, as I just didn't know what to put.
Which is really annoying, when over the past weeks when I've been revising, I've been getting B's and A's consistently.
Oh well, it's another one to resit.
Half way through my exams for January, though, so not all is bad.
It's nice to know.
What fun. However, not good in the sense that I should be revising for a maths exam. Oh well.
Spring '09 Exams – Day 1
General Studies was pointless to be honest. Mainly because I didn't know what to write.
To be honest, I'd attribute that to how bloody freezing that room was.
ICT, however, was amazing. Almost everything I revised was not used, however, I was still confident with 55/60 marks, which I am extremely happy with.
Three to go.
Exams.
Two tomorrow, one Thursday, one next Monday, and my last one a week on Wednesday.
For General Studies, 80 UMS will get me an A. Not that I care, though.
For ICT Unit 1, I need 62 UMS to put my AS grade into an A, which is only 68%. Which should be achievable. I hope.
For C3 in Maths, I need to do well.
For S1 in Maths, I'm not really aware of anything for it, have been focusing on C3 and ICT1. Anything above what I got last year will help, but it doesn't really matter.
For PHA4, oh my. I need to do well. However, I have not started revising yet, and I won't have another Physics lesson until after the exam, and I'm so going to fail. However, not failing would be helpful. But, if I do fail, in the summer we have to revise everything for the synoptic, so I'll resit again. But I don't want to.
And those are the next 10 days of my life, planned.
I cannot wait for the 21st.
